Dear friends,
I hope everyone had a good weekend.
Summer is upon us, and I would like to invite everyone to gather for an evening of fellowship and celebration of the summer solstice on Wednesday evening, June 21, at First UU, 6-9 pm. The celebration is open to Community Singers, our community and church partners, prospective members and partners, family, and friends. Please join us, and feel free to invite your family or a friend. There will be music, food, and drink. And you may bring a food, beverage, or monetary donation, as you wish. We will enjoy twilight in the garden, weather permitting. (And please let me know if you can volunteer to help with set up before or clean up afterward.)
And here is a reminder that we have Juneteenth rehearsals and performances this week, led by Deryck Tines and me. If you are not singing with us, I hope that you can come to enjoy one of our performances Sunday morning at Allegheny Unitarian Church or Sunday afternoon at Point State Park downtown. Rehearsals are 5:30 pm tonight (Tuesday) and Thursday at AAMI in Homewood. NO REHEARSAL ON WEDNESDAY this week.

June 21, Wed, SUMMER SOLSTICE. Outdoor / Indoor Party for Community Singers & Friends!!! 6-9 pm @ First UU. (Volunteers for set up and clean up needed.)
