“Each month First Unitarian Church splits our plate donations fifty percent with a local organization that our church has chosen through a process led by the Share the Plate Committee of First Unitarian Church.  Our first step in this process is to seek nominations from the congregation for the 8 months of collections that are not already filled by our regular partnerships: EECM, UUJustice PA, PIIN, and Khasi Hills.  The second step is a congregational vote.

The Share the Plate Committee of First Unitarian Church is seeking nominations for the ’24-’25 fiscal year.  Here is the link to the request for nominations.

If you have an idea for an organization that you would like to nominate, please complete the form.  When you submit a completed form,  the organization will be vetted and then added to a congregational vote during the annual meeting week to decide which organizations will be asked to participate for one month of the ’24-’25 fiscal year of Share the Plate donations. ”
