The food was delicious and the cheer was genuine as we celebrated our Khasi Hills partnership on Sunday, March 2. For over 20 years, the generosity of First UU Pittsburgh members and friends has supported two teachers at the school founded by Unitarian minister the Rev. Annie Margaret Barr in the village of Kharang in Northeast India. Just $9,600 a year pays the two teachers’ salaries! We will share the plate with our Khasi Hills partners in March.
