Sunday, September 15, is Board Activity Day!
First Unitarian’s Board of Trustees is responsible for financial management, policy, discerning the needs and desires of the congregation, planning for the future, and assessing the health of our religious community. In addition, there are several administrative committees that do the hands-on work of running the church, so that the board has time to take a wider view. These include Building and Grounds, Finance, Investment, Stewardship, Safety, Vision/Identity/Mission (VIM), the Committee on Shared Ministry (COSM), the Endowment Committees for Music, Campus Ministry, Religious Education, and Social Justice, the Nominating Committee, and more.
Come to coffee hour in the Undercroft Gallery on September 15 to learn how the Board and these administrative committees serve you, maybe consider becoming a member of one of these committees or the Board in the future, and share treats provided by the Board!
