BRUCE LEDEWITZ, Author of THE UNIVERSE, IS ON OUR SIDE
Bruce Ledewitz is a Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law. In 1981 he founded the Allegheny County Death Penalty project, which he directed for 13 years. He is a past winner of the Allegheny County Bar Association Pro Bono Service Award, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Liberty Award, the Marjorie Matson Civil Liberties Award, and the Inaugural Dr. John &Liz Murray Award for Excellence in Faculty Scholarship award at Duquesne. His previous books include “Hallowed Secularism: Theory, Belief, Practice” and “Church, State, and the Crisis in American Secularism”. He spoke on his most recent book, see above, last spring in the Pittsburgh Arts and Lectures “Made Local” series at the Carnegie Library Lecture Hall.
