Caste: The Origins of Our Discontent*, written by Isabel Wilkerson, provides a useful way to understand the persistence of racism in the US. Wilkerson’s book shows us that anti-Black racism has created a container into which we are born regardless of our personal desires. This four-part discussion series will look at anti-Black racism in the US as a caste system and consider how we can act to ameliorate its harms and dismantle it.
Join us as we seek to

* Develop proactive approaches to dismantling our racist caste system
