Join members and supporters of the Environmental Justice Initiative of First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh in a conversation with award-winning filmmaker, photographer, and activist Mark Dixon in a multi-platform event. Mark will be sharing via Zoom his insights about living well in a region with notoriously poor air quality. Mark began to work on air quality issues in 2016 via his documentary (still in production) entitled “Inversion: The
Unfinished Business of Pittsburgh’s Air,” and in 2017 was named a Champion for Healthy Air by the Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP). From low-cost monitors to filtration to forecasting poor air days, his stories have something for everyone!
This event is free and open to all.
