On Sunday, July 9th @ 12:30 in the Garden at First Unitarian Church Pittsburgh. Our garden area is tucked behind our church. Please use the sidewalk entrance on Morewood Ave. near the parking pad. Street parking on Morewood and Ellsworth Ave. is open on Sundays.
World Sacred Circle Dance Day was created by Gwyn Peterdi in 2015. Last year, the event had 230 groups dancing in over 27 countries. Come to the garden on July 9th @ 12:30 p.m. to learn three special dances for 2023 taught by Alice Carnes. Imagine people from all over the world dancing on Sunday, July 9th. Why do people dance? For their health, to embrace community, and to encourage world peace. Allow yourself to experience sacred circle dance, and then you can answer the question why do I dance?
