The church ended its fiscal year in an OK financial position, a bit short of what we planned for. All information below is as of the end of 2024.
REVENUE AND EXPENSES
Our operating income was $544,324, 97% of our budget of $558,880. Pledge contributions were about $15,000 short of budget, but investment income was about $5,000 higher than budget. Rental income was about $4,000 below budget. Operating expenses were $560,249, 101% of our budget of $555,904. Overall, this led to a net loss of $15,295, worse than our budgeted net income of $2,976.
ASSETS AND LIABILITIES
Total assets at the end of the year were $213,232.71, very similar to what they were at the end of 2023 ($218,421.31). This does not include the money in our endowments and other investments. Total liabilities were $209,284, about $10,000 lower than our total liabilities at the end of 2023. Overall, we ended the year with $3,948 in retained earnings, down by $15,295 of our net loss.
2025 BUDGET
In December, the Board of Trustees passed a budget that makes small positive investments in new program funding and a cost-of-living increase for staff while maintaining all existing programs. The budget also includes a projected surplus of $1,500. All of this is due to the strength of the ledges received for 2025. Thank you to everyone who pledged!
